Tapada dos Monges Brand
The brand Tapada dos Monges arises as a tribute to the monks who, in the 12th Century, introduced winemaking to this region.
The monovarietal Espadeiro was introduced in 2006, made from a very unique red grape variety - Espadeiro - that gives rise to a wine brimming with red fruit, quite fresh and exotic.
For irreverent moments get caught off guard by Tapada dos Monges Espadeiro. This vinho verde is made from one of the
most singular varieties of the region. From these grapes something admirable arises: a deep pink colour, a surprising raspberry aroma and a fresh and lingering taste. It is great as an aperitif or with oriental food, pastas and exotic deserts.
Should be served at 8o – 10oC.
